​▶Abctract
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a debilitating brain disorder and the most common form of dementia in the elderly. Cerebrovascular dysfunction that includes the deterioration of brain microvesselsand reduced cerebral blood flow, constitutes an early pathological change in AD. I will present unpublished in vitro, ex vivo, in vivo and human data on the role of the AD predisposition factor CD2AP in brain vessels, and its contribution to disease pathogenesis.
